How do I order for my child’s school?

1st - You will need your schools password

I don’t know how much to purchase for my child?

This question depends on finances and washing habits. How often do you wash?

Wash 1 time a week

  • 5 Polos/Blouse
  • 2-3 Sweatshirt/Sweater
  • 1 Jacket
  • 5 Bottoms

Wash 2 times a week

  • 3 Polos/Blouse
  • 1-2 Sweatshirt/Sweater
  • 1 Jacket
  • 3 Bottoms

Please take into consideration your school schedule

Does your child play PE and do they wear their PE clothes to school and how many days. You will need to adjust the above with a mixture of PE tops and bottoms. Also, does your school have a school sweatshirt and a PE sweatshirt. What are the MASS DAY requirements. All of this should be in your school handbook or on our pricesheet. Some information may be missing - contact your school directly for the most up to date school dress code requirements.

Some parents purchase 1 sweatshirt, 2-3 polos, and 2 -3 bottoms. Then in another month or so add to your child's uniform with a couple more polos and a jacket.For most schools depending on your location a jacket is not a necessity in August and September and maybe October. We are available year round with items. During October through May if items are in stock they will ship same day or next day. **In stock items only. This allows you to spread out your purchases and this helps with finances.

Purchasing quantities is only a suggestion and in no way a guarantee of what will work for you and your child.

I haven’t received my order...

We recommend that orders for school uniforms be placed at least 30 days before the first day of school to ensure a timely delivery for the 1st day of school. Why 30 days - 30 days should take into consideration processing time, logoing time, and exchanges plus shipping times. 30 days does not apply to back-ordered plaid items - expect delays up to 90 days.

Some schools require embroidered or printed goods which may require a longer lead time. 1-2 days during the low volume months and back to school season will be 5-8 days.

Back-ordered items may be delayed for 2-12 weeks from the date of purchase.  Most items will ship within 2-3 weeks. ALL plaid backordered items will take 9-12 weeks

You will receive an email notification when your order has been shipped.

If you have received a shipping confirmation but have not received your package, it is possible that UPS or USPS tried to deliver the package, but there was no one available to accept the package at the time of delivery. In this event, your package is most likely at your local access point. Please refer to the tracking number in your shipping confirmation email to check on the status of your shipment.

How do I cancel or edit an order?

To cancel please Email - info@bancroft-uniforms.com and request a cancellation. Please include Order #, Order Date, and Order Name.

You may call 510-638-1622 - however expect delays during high volume months. Please leave a message with the above information and a telephone # and we will call you back. Email is your best option. Then we can call you back.

Need to remove an item from your cart?

In your shopping cart to the right of the item click on the trash. If you are using a cellphone turn your phone horizontal and the trash can should appear. If you are unable to see the trash can please contact us at info@bancroft-uniforms.com and we can assist you in removing items from your cart.

Shipping

Most packages will ship for a flat rate of $6.99

Keep in mind, shipping delays may occur in such conditions as severe weather. Service interruptions may affect parcel traffic. Once package is shipped it is in the hands of the delivery company. Most packages will be delivered in 1-3 business days. Out of state expect 1 week. Nevada residents may receive in 1-3 business days without any inclement weather conditions.

All orders ship UPS or UPS Surepost. We will select the fastest shipping method.

If you choose a faster shipping method (Next day air) we will ship your order once the order has been filled in the order that it was received. Example – If you place your order on August 1st with next day air – your order will be sent to the fulfillment dept and then logoing dept (if necessary) and then your package will be shipped. During peak season it may take up to 8-10 days to ship. We will then ship it to you with the fastest shipping method possible. Paying for expedited shipping does not process your order any faster it will only ship faster. This means your August 1st order with Next Day Air shipping may not be shipped until August 10th.

How do I track my shipment?

Upon shipment of an order, tracking information is automatically sent to the email that we have on file for your account. Upon receipt of this email, you can check the status of your package via the shipping carriers websites which are listed below.

During July anticipate 3-6 days and during August please anticipate 8-12 days from your order date to receive your tracking #

All other months should be within 0-2 days unless notified of a delay in your order.

Returns and Exchanges

Before attempting any Returns or Exchanges please read the following:

* All items must be unworn, unwashed, and all appropriate tags must still be attached to the items. NO personalized (embroidered names) items can be exchanged.

** During high volume month returns and refunds can take up to 15 days to process

Exchanges

3 Options are available

Option 1

Fastest way to receive exchanged items during high volume months (July, August, September)

Purchasing the new items first will put your new order in the order line immediately.

Purchase needed items - return items needing to be exchanged at a later date (within 30 days)

Please fill out the Return Form that came with your shipment. If you do not have the Return Form, please write your name, school, telephone #, and order # on any paper and return with your items in a sealed bag.

2 options

1 Request a return label - send an email to info@bancroft-uniforms.com. Attach the return label to any box or shipping bag and drop off at your local UPS store

2 Package Drop Box - located to the left of our front door. All packages placed in the Package Drop Box - Maximum Package Size Dimensions: 13.0″ W x 8.0″ H x 11.25″ D. Your new items will ship as soon as your order is processed. Your returned items will be inspected upon receipt and your refund processed.

Option 2

Return items with your exchange using UPS

1. Please send an email to info@bancroft-uniforms.com to receive an exchange label. Within the day of request you should receive a return label. Please check your inbox or spam folder for the label

2. Please fill out the return form that came with your shipment. If you do not have the return form, please write your name, school, telephone #, and order # on any paper and return with your items.

3. Attach the return label to any box or shipping bag and drop off at your local UPS store

4. After receiving your items we will put your new order into processing. You will receive an email with a tracking # when your new items are being shipped.

Option 3

Return items with your exchange using the Drop Box
